We had two authors of Norwegian children's books staying in Poland in 2008. Hilde Ringen Kommedal visited us in November and Stian Hole in December.

Inauguration

On the 26th of November the Foundation of Initiatives Socially Responsible invites you to the inauguration of the Promotion of Norwegian children's literature in Poland. The project has been carried out for the last 15 months within Poland and Norway. It will start with a conference in Gdańsk during the third Baltic Meetings of Illustrators.

This year nine applications to the Fund of the Cultural Exchange received a subsidy for implementation of their actions. Among them there was the project of the Foundation of Initiatives Socially Responsible (FISO) from Gdańsk. Beginning in October 2008, in cooperation with Norwegian partners the Foundation started realization of the project Promotion of Norwegian children's literature in Poland.
